On behalf of the Organizing Committee of EACID 2009, we are pleased
to inform you the instruction of poster presentation. Please be sure
to share this information with the co-authors on this abstract. You
may find a list of all accepted abstract submissions on EACID’s web
site at: http://www.eacid.org.
Poster Board Assignment: Your Poster Board Number will be available
on the website (in the Abstracts), please be sure to check
www.eacid.org to locate your assigned poster board number for
placing your poster presentation.
Posters: The poster board is 70 cm. wide x 100 cm tall. In general,
posters are displayed from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Your poster MUST
remain on display throughout the day on your scheduled day. You are
scheduled to be available at your poster for one hour, beginning at
12.30 to 13.30. Posters must be removed by 18:00. Please check bags,
convention materials, poster tubes, etc. in the Poster Storage area.
Note: All posters are to be presented in English.
Title is to be printed at the top of the poster. (BOLD CAPITAL
letters, Font: Times New Roman, Size: # 100).
Name(s) of author(s), institution(s), city and country of author(s)
should be stated clearly, directly below the title. Provide the
surname(s) of the author(s) followed by initials.
Print the name of the presenting author in bold.
Posters are to be mounted at eye level.

The Congress Organization will provide poster or oral presentations
awards presented at EACID meeting:
1st prize: Euro 500
2nd prize: Euro 300
3rd prize: Euro 200
The awards will be decided by an award committee. The following
criteria with respect to the presentation will be evaluated:
1. Scientific quality
2. Quality, structure and organization of the presentation
The awards will be announced at the EACID meeting where the study
was presented, and the award will subsequently be given to the
presenting author of the presentation. It is the responsibility of
the authors of the awarded study to reach an agreement on dividing
the awarded money among the authors.
